My journey as an artist:
I live in a story: a tale of braided memories and romantic perspectives on all that is around me. This world is my reality. I wander away from the party. I begin walking through the dark woods carrying my lantern and I look closely to see what I might not have noticed before. I’m not escaping, rather I am embracing each step, enchanted by every pattern and glisten that catches my eye. I stumble onto a new place. A new place in my life, a new place as an artist. Oh this place is soaked! ..soaked in pools and pools of what life is supposed to be. Its a world where all my imaginations are set free. Here, I am greeted by worm women and lady bugs who invite me to sit for some tea. I now know where to come to carefully pour my colorful thoughts into tiny little cups-where I can dance with what is on the inside and where I can blanket myself in all that deepens me.
My studio is where I come to spill my sparkely illusions into this world. This is a romance. Its a wild beast-fierce and free. It is my art.

Odyssey’s End was created in order to bring a unique shopping experience to the downtown area. Owner’s Chris and Brooke Mullen have lived in the Nashville area for more than a decade and wanted to be a part of the revitalization of Downtown. They state “Our store offers an escape from the hustle of the day. We specialize in decorative artwork and an array of clever and custom gifts for the discerning shopper. It is important to us that downtown commuters, tourists and home owners now have a unique place to shop.”
The home can be an oasis without breaking the bank. Good design starts with objects you love and each room can be created around those pieces. And helpful ideas are part of the shopping experience.
Studio 66
Bart Mangrum
66 Arcade Building
Nashville TN, 37219
After five years studying and working in Rome, Italy, artist Barton Mangrum returned home to Nashville last December. He picked Studio 66, an affordable space upstairs at the historic Arcade Building, because of the vicinity to his home on West End. In addition, the Arcade is perfect for Barton because of its vibrant energy with plenty of people and activity during the day and a more contemplative mood in the evenings.
With other artists moving into the neighborhood, it is clear that he is not alone in this theory. Studio 66 is located in the balcony level of Arcade Building, suite # 66.
