The Inaugural Public Art Exhibit in the Arcade

Dangenart Gallery is launching the debut public art exhibition in the Arcade. This solo exhibition will feature Daniel Lai’s burnt art. Six iconic Arcade personalities, (business owners and employees,) will be honored by Lai’s burnt canvas. Each individual will be portrayed on a six feet by six feet, pigment free canvas achieved solely by burn marks. These giant portraits will be publicly displayed along the length of the Arcade from 4th Ave. to 5th Ave. Not only can the public enjoy art in the Arcade, these iconic personalities can also be spotted working in this historic building. The exhibit runs from Jan 19 to May 25.
Second Reception: Feb 3, Sat, 6-8pm.
